Paterns in the Woods   Leave a comment

Black and white are the colors of photography. To me they symbolize the alternatives of hope and despair to which mankind is forever subjected. (Robert Frank)

I’ve been going back to some of the photographs I shot a few years ago. This is one I found from May 2008. It started out life as a shot of the results of some logging in the woods. I played around with it back then but really couldn’t get it to “speak.” This time I decided to get real radical so I ran it through Topaz BW Effects and converted it to resemble an infrared shot and found the image I was looking for!
